I started to mow the lawn two days ago, and today I wanted to finish it up. For some reason I didn’t really start until it was really, really hot outside and I think that was a mistake. It wasn’t too bad when I was on the rider, but when I switched over to trimming with the push mower – yikes it was hot! The last spot that I needed to trim with the push mower was the ditch by the road. Now I’m sure that my face was very red because I was very hot, and then a couple of cars went by slowly and I think they were looking to see just what in the heck I was doing. I almost quit because I was getting pretty warm, but it might rain tomorrow and I didn’t want to start this all over. So I was able to get it all mowed and into the shower I went to try to cool off. When both myself and outside cooled down a little bit, I went to see how my tomatoes are doing. I wanted to spend tomorrow canning and it looks like I’ll get my wish.
