I had some errands to run in town this morning and I didn’t really realize how crazy the wind was until I got home. They said it was gusting up to 30 mph today. Yuck! So I took all my flowers that I could and put them down as close to the buildings. I’ve been trying to nurse them back to health since they got murdered at William’s graduation party. I guess we’ll see how good this was going to work for them today. I also dropped off my brothers plants that he was able to use in his garden. They’re extras that I had, and a lot of them! I don’t know how many cabbage plants that there are in the one container – but by the looks of it I don’t think he’ll run out of coleslaw this fall! Mom and I went to town this afternoon to do some shopping for my niece’s wedding that is coming up in July and we sure had good luck. Usually it’s a good day if you can find one dress that you ‘kind of like’. But today, Mom found two that she likes. So like I said – It was a good day! When I got home I knew that I should go out and water not only the flowers but the garden. I just couldn’t do it. It was so terribly windy out there, that I just took a bath instead. Hummm, this might have been a very bad decision on my part. As for kayaking tomorrow, we’re trying to decide if we’re going to go or not. The rain sounds like it might be not as much of a chance as it was earlier for tomorrow, but still so windy. I think we’ll see what the forecast is in the morning and then make the decision. It’s too bad that this wind just won’t stop – at least for a couple of days! OK, maybe now for the rest of the summer. I just hate the wind!
