I needed to kill some time the other day when I was picking up Daryl, so I went to the Good Will store. Now I know that I should be bringing stuff there and not bringing stuff home from there, but it didn’t hurt to look right? I didn’t see too much, until I came across this plastic storage thing. I was thinking that I would use it for my ribbon in my craft room, so after a whole $1.50 spent, I went to get Daryl from work. One of his friends from work stopped and talked to me in the truck, and I could see her glancing over to the seat beside me. I figured I’d tell her what I was going to do with this, because I thought it would be kind of cool. Well, I’m thinking she couldn’t see the whole vision thing, and she just smiled and said that it’ll be nice. After I bought some paint on the way home, I started to paint the box. I’ve never painted plastic before and let me tell you that the spray paint sure stinks. I was painting outside, but once it was dry I brought it inside and it still smells. I didn’t paint the inside of the containers because I decided that I would use it first for graduation. I think I’m going to put silverware inside so I washed it out really good. I used a metal looking paint, and I like how it looks. I’m thinking that it was a really good buy.
Daryl spent the day working on the sink that we’re putting in the Roadhouse. We’ve been looking at quite a bit of places for ideas, and just couldn’t come up with anything that we liked. We halfway liked this one stainless steel sink and then Daryl said that he had some sinks like that left from when he was milking cows. Oh yea. This is right up my alley. So they did have some stains on them, but after a couple of times washing them, Daryl was able to get them cleaned and all shined up. Hopefully on Monday or Tuesday of next week the electrician is coming and he’ll hook up the sink and the plumbing.
