I’m not sure what’s going on with the weather, but man has it been a windy start to the year so far. Today the cement contractors came early in the morning and cut the cement and took off the frames. So now it was our turn, we raked the dirt and picked up more rocks. Then to try to put some grass seed down without it all blowing away was a challenge in itself. And wouldn’t you know it, we ran out of the grass seed before we were done seeding the area down. So I hurried and ran to town to get some more, and by the end of the day, we had everything seeded that we wanted to get done. And from look from the 10 o’clock news, it looks like we’ll get some rain tonight to help soak down the dirt. It can always be worse, right? I talked to Kyle this morning and it was snowing there today. I told him to keep the snow up there because we still had some things that we wanted to get done around the farm yet. Our next step is to figure out what we’re going to do with the fire pit. It really shouldn’t be too hard, and I guess we’ll find out if that’s true or not.
