Good bye to the Oliver and hello to spring work

The guys were busy getting the Oliver ready for the person who was going to pick it up today. He said that he’d like to get it today if that would work for us, so Daryl and the boys got it out of the shed and washed it all up. Even though this was one of the first tractors that Daryl bought when we got married, it hasn’t run for some years now and we weren’t planning on fixing it back up. So it’s a good thing that someone was going to fix it back up, and it would be fun to see when he had it all done.

With the nice weather today, Daryl went in the field to do some spring plowing. I wish we could have went on a bike ride, but it just didn’t work today. I spent the day working in the house and making a couple of batches of candy. Even though I wasn’t able to hang outside today, I was happy with everything that I could check off my list. I’m just hoping that I’ll have as good as luck this week with getting more things done. Now that the calendar turned to April – I need to keep focused and keep getting things done. I know that I can get distracted, so I better keep my lists close by!
