The electrician came today and he got done! I would never have guessed that I would be so excited about outlets and fluorescent lights before.. but I sure am now! It seems like I’ve been waiting for this to be checked off the list for quite some time now. After I’m done with this update – I’m going outside now that it’s getting darker out, so I can see how the outside lights look when it’s dark outside. See, I told you that I was excited didn’t I? Now the next part is to find out what we want to do with the flooring. We know that we would like to put some kind of commercial carpeting down, it’s just how much will we want to carpet and how much we’re going to spend … is the question.
With the warm weather that we’ve been having, the plants in the greenhouse are having a great start to the year. Some of the flowers and the cabbage is starting to come up. The tomatoes take a little bit more time and so do the peppers, so it’s a no show from them so far.

I’ve included the photo of the pumpkin roll that I made yesterday and I’ll add the recipe tomorrow. It’s really easy and if you have canned pumpkin and cream cheese in your refrigerator (and who doesn’t?) you can make this cake. I usually make a little more of the cream frosting that goes in the middle because by the time you test it a couple times to just to make sure that it really does taste good, you might not have enough to fill the cake.
