Windows going in on the Roadhouse

Today was a beautiful day and just by luck our carpenter came to start working on the Roadhouse windows. Daryl and I talked about the windows last night and if we thought that what we decided (three windows) would look right. I know – talk about the last minute decisions. Well we never did come up with an answer last night and when the carpenter came today I was still unsure. I helped him carry the windows outside and after we put them where they would be placed on the shed, we decided that we’d only put in two of the windows. So when the first of the holes for the window was being cut in the metal – I was just sweating. I was hoping that this was the right decision and when the second hole was cut, I knew that it was right. Daryl took the afternoon off and we went to Decorah for the afternoon and didn’t get home early enough to get a picture taken. But when we did come home we looked at the shed from the road and man oh man does it look different -even when it’s dark out. I’ll post a picture tomorrow of the ‘before’ and ‘after’ picture. It really looks nice! For now it’s off to a basketball game and then to a Christmas party. It sure is a busy time of the year isn’t it.
