I did start out the day with my faithful list of things that I wanted to get done and as the morning was heading to noon, I was able to get quite a bit of them checked off. Then I started to mess with some software on the computer and everything changed. I have never claimed to be an expert on the computer and I sure don’t know how to fix somethings that ‘should’ be easy. Now I know that I’ve heard my Mom say to others that I’m her go to computer girl, but with the Web TV that she uses, we’ve seen almost all the different situations that we’ve gotten into and know by now how to get out of them. But today was different. What I was trying to do was to go into a software program on my computer and link my passwords to two different programs. OK did get that done and it wasn’t too bad. Next I wanted to get permission to have access to be the administrator of the software to be able to change the coding on the program. I got the permission and my password worked and was able to see some coding. But do you think I could find the coding that I was looking for? NO! Now since I’ve been laid off I’ve been working on my patience and I have to say myself that I’ve gotten much more patient this past year. Even today I didn’t freak out when I shut down the server. (yea, sounds bad doesn’t it) I did have to take off the sweater that I was wearing over another shirt though because I was literally starting to sweat. I did get the server up and running again but still couldn’t find the code. I’m going to try again tomorrow for awhile because I should be able to find it. Until then, I’m heading to the scrapbook room to work on a tile for my sister that she’s going to need in a couple of days. What I have to do is to cut vinyl out to place on a tile in memory of her father in law. My sister is really involved with a project in West Union that volunteers work months and months preparing for. The project is to take the city park and literally light it up with Christmas lights. The opening night is November 25, so I better get this done. You can adopt a tree to decorate and if you do then you put the tile in front of the tree so everyone knows who the tree is dedicated for. The park is beautiful when they have it all decorated, and I’ve added a picture that she has posted on how the it looked last year. If you are out and about, I would add the park to the list of things to do this Christmas Season.
