New Insurance Guy

I was getting dressed to head to Turkey Valley, and you know when there is no one in the house but you and you hear a funny noise and you just can’t figure it out right away? Well that was me this morning. I heard this small tapping noise and thought to myself – what in the world is that now? I walked into the kitchen and it was getting louder and then I figured it out. It was someone at our basement door. Now I don’t know why people get confused on which door to use when you come into our house, but they do. I told Daryl tonight that I AM going to paint the door so people know it’s our front door! He said OK, but was I planning on doing it yet this week? Well since tomorrow is Friday and there is no way I’m going to get it done by then, so I said not this week but soon! I must be having painting withdrawals. So this guy is standing there and he’s with our new farm insurance company. He needed to take pictures so I said – go for it. (I was really glad that I was dressed when I went out looking for whatever was making the noise!) So off he went to take pictures and pretty soon I came outside to start the car because I also needed to head to school for the Musical matinee. I talked to him awhile and when he said that our farm sure looked good, I knew that I liked him – even though he probably tells everyone this.

Our last couple of days have been involved with the upcoming musical at our school. I’ve seen it a couple of times already and enjoy it more and more each time that I’m there. I’ll be sad when it’s over because our family has been involved with the musicals for around 10 years. But there is always something new around the corner. Basketball practice starts for William on Monday!

We’ll certainly miss William next year….at my house and during play season. I’ve loved getting to know him. He’s really a great guy!

Thanks! I wouldn’t rule out that you won’t see him again though. I’m betting he’ll still be hanging out at your house on some of the weekends!
