Sunday – finishing up some projects

We’ve had our 4th crop of hay down now for some time now and just when you think that we are going to be able to bale it – it’s been too tough. So the verdict is in, no baling hay again this weekend.

So with baling hay out of the picture, Daryl transferred more of the hay round bales back to our farm from the other farm.dsc_0786 dsc_0789These large bales really come in handy when it’s 20 below and snowing in the winter. But I have to confess, I still really like the small bales of hay. I don’t necessarily like always having to bale them when the weather is warm and you should be kayaking or something, but they are really nice to have in the barn. dsc_0787These round bales are always a good hiding spot for the kitties to hide in. dsc_0788

As for me? I worked on some more soap stuff (I know you’re shocked right?) and also finished up a Donation Gift that is for a fund raising event coming up this next weekend. I wasn’t sure if I should wrap it or not with a clear plastic but for now I think I’ll leave it unwrapped.

It’s kind of a good basket – well that is if you like bath stuff 🙂20161013_204003_resized

And the best part of the weekend? Skyping with all the kids! Yup, that’s definately the best part!
