Christmas Cookies

Guess who came to visit us tonight? It was Ma with a container of cookies!! Whoot Hooot!! And not just any kind of cookies – these were Christmas cookies. Now don’t get me wrong, I do like to be in the kitchen fussing away with candy and other baked things, but I really don’t like to make cut out cookies. So how can you get a better surprise than this? And who said you only get presents on Christmas Eve when Santa Clause comes?  I think Ma was out doing some Christmas giving herself! Come to think of it, she did have her red sweater on….
