I had the chance to go to my nieces bridal shower today and it was really fun. She is one of those girls that just seem to glow and today was no exception. It was nice that when her dad came to the shower after it was over to help with the clean up, she came and found me to make sure that I took a picture of them. I think that when she gets married she will miss them – but I think they will miss her even more.

While I was gone to the shower Daryl went to an auction and bought a gravity box. He needs another one for when he’s in the field so that way he can fill up a couple of the boxes and not have to come home to empty them so often. He also put the bean head on the combine and tonight we took it over to the fields that he is going to take out. I asked him if he was going to be in the field tomorrow and he said that he wasn’t, but wanted to be ready for when he does go in.

sounds like you had a busy day! that is a nice photo of your niece and her dad. it looks like the two of them are really close. my daughter and my husband are really close too. i think that makes for a well balanced gal, when she has a good relationship with her daddy. same with mom’s and son’s.
