OK – now I don’t want to whine but I’ve tried a couple of different things these past two days so I don’t puff up like a balloon after our bike ride. Guess what – they are not working! This morning I went to get a massage (I thought this would help keep my legs from swelling up) It did work for the morning on my legs but my face took the hit and my eyes were half swollen shut when I left. I went into the hardware store and they wouldn’t even look me in the face. They would just ask me if I’ve found everything OK. So this afternoon I mowed and trimmed lawn all day thinking that if I keep moving it would help. Well tonight I’ve almost lost my ankles because they are so swollen. It’s the oddest thing, I can actually feel my heartbeat in my feet. I’ve been drinking Diet Coke all day and since that hasn’t helped – I’m switching over to beer for tonight. If it doesn’t help it sure can’t hurt!
Today William worked on taking the sealant off the cement porch. We’ve been trying to figure out how to get the cement stripped for awhile now and this was the third power washer that we’ve tried and it finally worked. I think it could take your skin off if you got too close! But happy that it works and tomorrow we’re going to put the sealer on it. I was busy washing the house when he was working on this. You know when you’re first married and someone does something and you wonder – what is wrong with them? Well Daryl’s mom would wash their house and I would think to myself , there is no way in the world that I would ever even imagine doing that. That’s why God created rain. Well I looked at our porch this morning and thought that I better get out the bucket and wash it. I wish Daryl’s mom would still be with us because I would tell her that it ‘really was a good idea’ instead of me just staring with my mouth open watching her in disbelief.
We started again working on the farrowing house. Since we rented the super power washer Daryl used it to finish washing the ceiling. The next step in there is to call the electrician and review the existing wiring and rewire if necessary.
Check out the picture below of the tomatoes that I just couldn’t throw away. They are really coming around and we are starting to pick and eat them. I have never seen so many tomatoes. There’s over 30 plants that is planted under this windmill. I’ve found a couple of friends that only have a few plants, so I’m planning on sending them the overflow.
