Weddings

Isn’t that how it always goes – you don’t have a wedding for awhile and then you have two on the same day! That’s what happened to us on Saturday. We had two different neighbor families have weddings and they were both the same day and same time. But of course, they were in two different towns. It really wasn’t too bad to be able to attend both of them, and it was even kind of fun going from one to the other. If you didn’t see someone at the one wedding, there was a really good chance that you’d see them at the other. And we just smiled when we saw some of our friends at both receptions. Our town population is pretty small, so everyone was pretty much at one or the other’s wedding. Both were big weddings, and had around 400 to 500 people at the receptions. They both were really nice and everyone had a great time. I made a couple wedding cards for the day and it reminded me how much I really enjoy doing this. I haven’t made the time since I started to work again to just sit down and make cards or scrapbook, but I found out today that I kind of miss it. We’ve got a couple more weddings coming up this year, but they are not on the same weekend. Whew, Thank goodness!
