I read awhile ago that as you get older, your release more of this one chemical in your brain that literally makes you feel like time goes faster. OK, so let’s just say that’s true. Then why in the world wouldn’t they create a new chemical to slow things down. Am I right? Well the reason that I’m saying this is because Kyle was planning on flying out Wed morning early and that time with him home went by so fast. So we hurried with our night chores and got everything lined up and then we usually begin and end a visit from the boys with a ‘friendly’ card game, and this trip was the same. So we sat down at the kitchen table and the taunting began. We usually play Daryl and I against the boys, and the verdict is still out if we really won the last time we played. But as the hands were being dealt and the score was only one or two points difference all the time – the boys won. Yea, I have to say it, but in our defense.. they only won by one! So after the game we tried to get to bed tonight somewhat early because we were leaving at 2:30 am for the airport. I’m not sure when Daryl got to bed, and I’m not sure if Kyle actually ever went to bed, but I crawled into bed around 11:30. I’m sure the alarm will be loud at 2 am!
