Music concert

Tonight Daryl and I went to a music concert at our local high school and let me just say it was kind of weird going there without our kids in the program. It was the first time in 14 years that we’ve gone to any music programs and haven’t had any of our kids in it. I don’t know if it was just my imagination, but I caught a couple of parents checking us out and wondering just why we were there. OK, going back to the 14 years thing. This was the first time in that many years that I haven’t lugged a camera (or probably two cameras) to the school. I felt just a little left out. But I did see a couple of the other Mom’s after the concert taking group pictures of the kids, so I think the torch has been passed on.
