I’ve been trying to see if flower window boxes will work on the barn. So this year I put up a couple as an experiment. What I found out is that the wind that blows through here in the spring can really mess them up! I know that the flowers that I put in are too tall, but I had them extra in the greenhouse so I thought I’d give them a chance. They really don’t look too bad for their height and they would have looked quite a bit better if we didn’t have the crazy wind earlier.

Daryl has been working on making doors for the buildings. Again with the wind this spring, the doors can get broke really fast. He’s got a couple of large doors to make, and then some small doors for the barn. It looks like it might rain this morning so he’s trying to hurry. We all are hoping that it doesn’t rain.William has been trying to pick rock all week and he had a chance to get out there this morning. We also have an outside wedding to go to this afternoon so it sure would sure be nice if we could get by for at least this one weekend! The wedding is on a friend of ours farm. We were only invited to one other farm wedding quite a few years ago. It was really fun and pretty so I’m excited to go to this wedding this afternoon. Daryl is in a group that will be singing for the ceremony and I will be taking pictures. As far as I know there are no other photographers so I’m asking William to also take some pictures, so hopefully between the both of us we can have some good ones.
