Well today was definitely a very weird day. I really wanted to do a ‘list’ but I thought.. noooooo, don’t do it! And I must say it was very, very weird without one. I spent more time watering the lawn that I’ve ever done in my life, but I thought that I do have the time to do it now. But while I was watering the grass, I started to look around and thought that we really did a good job getting the farm ready. All the buildings look good. And for the first time since I’ve lost my job I felt really unemployed. And to be honest I didn’t know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. But I knew that is what I was feeling today. I was so out of my routine that I wasn’t sure what I should be doing or when I should be doing it.
When Daryl got home from work tonight the weather was so perfect,that we decided we better get the rocks picked up off the bean field. Usually when we pick rock it is very hot, but since the weather was so nice today it wasn’t so bad. This is the first time that Ali picked rock and she did a very good job. Then since she was out in the field, she also got a chance to drive a tractor. She looked like a pro! The night ended with getting out the camper and getting it ready for the weekend. Not sure at this time if they’ll be room for the kids at the local park or not, but either way – the camper is washed and is ready to go when they are.
