I heard some banging going on outside tonight when Daryl got home and at first I thought that I should go out and see what he was doing…. but then I thought I had enough of my own stuff that I wanted to get done so I didn’t go. But after awhile I looked out the window and saw him bent down sanding this one really long piece of sheet metal. OK, now my curiosity was getting the best of me and I went out to see what was going on. It looked like it was a piece off of our tractor and when I looked around the yard, I found out that it was a really good guess. Daryl took the hood off the tractor and was sanding down all the metal. He wants to repaint some of the parts of the tractor. I found the tractor paint that he bought and put on a first coat on one of the pieces. It didn’t cover too well, but I guess we’ll just have to put on a couple of coats for the next couple of days to see if it’s going to cover better. It’s kind of a big project and we’ll have to hurry to get it done because it’s one of the tractors that he uses in the field in the spring.
