I spent the afternoon working on transferring the old movie film over to VHS tapes and then to DVD’s. So after a couple of hours doing this – I started to look a little closer at my setup and found a cable that I thought might work even better. So I hooked up the cable to the camera and then to the converter and the laptop and it worked. I couldn’t believe it. So I messed around with a burned DVD that I made to try to figure out some of the software for editing. I have it somewhat figured out, but it’s not perfect. But I do think the picture quality is better doing it this way and it’ll cut out half the time of making the DVD’s! I’ve attached a picture of my setup before I found out that I didn’t need the TV and the VHS player.
For supper I thawed out some steak and we were going to have that with mash potatoes and gravy. Well William went with a bunch of kids to scout another basketball team and Daryl came home late from Chicago and no one was around for supper. So I put the steak back in the refrigerator and made myself an egg sandwich. My supper was that egg sandwich, piece of fudge, and a beer. I think I probably should have made the steak instead.
it must be the week for egg sandwiches. i had a fried egg sandwich last night for my dinner.
