Today was a big day for the Chevelle. The cement was cured in the Roadhouse, so after Daryl took the car around the block (he said to get it warmed up) – into the Roadhouse she went. I haven’t gone to check it out yet but I bet it looks different again inside there. Daryl has a car cover for her and will have to put it on yet. What this means for our other car is that is can go into the garage now instead of sitting outside in the weather.

Who do you think likes it the most? If you guessed the dogs ….. Your Right! If you look in the picture above you can see their old dog bed in the middle of the yard. So when I went to town quick to see about getting another dog bowl warmer, I left the door open in the garage. It hasn’t been left open since early spring when Daryl bought his car. When I came back home and checked out inside the garage, I found the dogs relaxing on their old couch. I really think if dogs could smile, they would be smiling right now. So I petted them for awhile and then left them have their afternoon nap. I wonder how long it will be until we start seeing the cushions (or maybe the couch?) in our yard again. So if you drive by our farm and see the car still sitting out it’s probably just because I left it open for the dogs to nap. And who says they’re spoiled?
