Daryl took the day off of work and after he did some errands, off to town we went. We needed a couple of Christmas gifts along with some other stuff. We found everything that we were looking for and then off to the hardware store. We needed to look at plumbing for the Roadhouse. We’ve talked to the contractor who did our cement porch on our house the other day and he’s coming next week. We’re looking for some advice on the cement that we have and what we’ll need to do with it to get it more level and helping with the drain. We’re also thinking we might have him pour the cement for the patio on the south side next Spring instead of us putting down patio blocks. When we pour the cement inside we’re planning on putting in a drain – so that was the task today at the hardware store. We bought all the hardware for it and now to just to get it installed. We also bought some lights for the outside and then we bought something that we were not planning. We bought our Christmas tree there. This is the first time we’ve ever bought a Christmas tree from a Hardware Store but it looks really nice and smells terrific! Daryl cut the bottom off and we put it in water tonight. We’ll see where we’re going to put it tomorrow in the living room.
