On Sunday I finally decided that I was going to take the plunge and switch out my winter to spring/summer clothes. As you can imagine, with having an older farm home also comes with having smaller closets and also the reason for this activity twice a year.
I really don’t mind switching my clothes out once you get started but you really have to be in the right frame of mind. When you switch them out you can see what clothes you haven’t worn for some time and your next set of clothes seems like you might have found someone else’s closet. I mean you haven’t seen it for six months they almost look new again!
So while I was changing out the closet the furnace ran a lot and the wind was just howling. Now I don’t mean that the furnace was running every once in awhile – but I heard it kick in almost the whole time. But I held firm because there is a promise that this upcoming week is going to be much warmer. And with the furnace set at 66 degrees and just trying to keep the house warm this afternoon, I sure hope they’re right!
