We left our car at the repair shop last night, so this morning I rode with Daryl to work again. I dropped him off and then had the pickup for the day. So I stayed home today and painted with white paint. It was really windy, but I was able to paint on the south side of the buildings without much trouble. The shed that I painted really wasn’t too bad but I wanted to brighten it up and clean up some spots. There was some splattered paint on the red that was leftover from the last time the building was painted and I tried to get it off with some gas on a rag. It didn’t work and I didn’t want to press my luck and take off the red paint. But I did get the one side finished and started on the north side. It was too windy to keep going so I called it a day. I picked up our car this afternoon and now with all new brakes, it should be good for awhile again. Tonight for supper I made a big crock pot full of chili. If you weren’t in the wind today the sun was warm, but when the sun goes down the cold seems to go right through you. So I thought chili would taste good and I was right. For dessert? Rice Krispie treats. Not much of a dessert but I haven’t made them for awhile and they’re so easy and fast.

I’m trying to save this one plant that I bought last week from the florist. It’s in my living room and they told me that you really can’t kill it. I think I’m proving them wrong. I’ve tried to water it a lot and then when I think I’m drowning it, I don’t water it for awhile. I have no idea what the answer is, but I sure hope I can turn it around before it’s too late!
My poor plant
My gram had the greenest thumb ever but that typy of plant gave her fits! She would dig it up over and over, each time watching it grow then die! Good luck with it.
