Ash Wednesday

As many of you know that we are Catholics and with today being Ash Wednesday, that means two important things. Number One: Going to church and having ashes put on your head. Well we failed at this one. We never made it to church tonight and that’s not such a good thing. Number Two:  Giving something up for Lent. OK, now this one I can do. Because we never made it to church, I wanted this to be something especially hard, but what could it be? Shazam! I’ve got it. I’ll give up Diet Coke. Now granted I’ve been working really hard on drinking more water lately, so maybe this just might work. So I finished up the bottle that I had opened  (waste is a sin right?) and decides YUP that’s what I’m going to do. Give up POP!
