Sometimes when you hear the old saying, ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’ you never really realize how much that could be true. So I’ve put just some of the rafting pictures on this post to show you just what type of an adventure we got ourselves into. To be honest, we really had no idea just what we actually were getting ourselves into. But you know what? Maybe that was a good thing 🙂
But this time we didn’t tip
The biggest of all the falls, the 12 foot one. Now you might not think that this would be so bad… but holy smokes!Â
We were all ready to be dunked again, but Score! We must have learned something along the way because we never tipped. I think we were just as surprised as our guide.Â
At the end we were feeling pretty smug and relieved! We also learned what a level 4 white water rafting means.
What a fun, fun day!
OH. MY. GOD. You guys were crazy to do that!!! But kudos to you guys–you definitely earned bragging rights! Now when you’re in a difficult situation you’ll say to yourself “feet first, swim to the right”!!
That is so true. We were told that if (or in our case – when) you dunk you put your feet first down the river and swim to the right. Well when we tipped it was every man to themselves! We all got stuck under the raft and I’m not sure we learned what to do when that happened. It was really hard not to panic and I’m sure I had no idea which way was right!!
HOLY S### BONNIE!!
That’s all I can say!:o
Too funny Sherry!! Because that’s exactly what we were saying too!!
