I’ve been putting off bring the little kitty to the Vet, but finally I gave in. He’s been sneezing again and let me just say that it’s not cool to have your cat sneeze all the time. So I called to see if there was a time available today for the vet to see him, and there was an appointment that I could get after work. So once work was over, I beat it home and loaded up Pepper in a cat carrier and off we went. He did not like being in the carrier, but it really worked out pretty good. When the Vet was looking at Pepper, she said that maybe he’s got allergies. WHAT? I know that my head just sprung up and I gave her one of those ‘you are kidding right!’ looks and then she said that maybe the cat just had a sinus infection. While I was driving home I was thinking of this and I thought maybe it was a way for you to think that sinus infection is OK and a lesser of the two evils. I don’t know, but I never heard of a cat getting sinus infection. But one of our dogs got it and he died from it. The infection got into his system. After a quick shot and I paid my bill, back into the carrier he went. Now I’ve never really heard this cat meow and I for sure never heard him growl before. Well, not until today. I thought that was so odd, but I knew that he was OK and I kept driving. All of a sudden as we were driving past a farm, it smelled bad. No, it smelled really bad. I was wondering how in the world could a farm smell that bad? As I was driving up the road I could still hear the kitty growling and then I noticed that I could still smell that farm, only to realize that I was about a mile down the road. Now this didn’t make sense. Then it dawned on me why the little kitty was growling. Yea, not cool. But I was glad he was in a cat carrier and he was glad when he finally got left out. He looks pretty tough and in a week I have to give him another shot. I sure hope that this takes care of his problem and he feels better soon.
