The Big Day!

Today I start. I kept coming up with things that I want to get done this summer so I am planning on dividing up the big projects into three groups. The first one: Paint all the farm buildings. Now this doesn’t sound too bad but I did a quick inventory and this would include 8 buildings. Three of them are very large! My example of large is our dairy barn!!! The second project: landscape our yard. I have no idea on what I’m going to do here so this one will probably get done last. The 3rd one: remodel the old farrowing house. I’ll need some outside help putting in the windows and doors but I would like to use it for graduation next year.  Now other than these three large projects I have at least 10 smaller ones that I want to get done. I’m a list maker so I’m planning on starting an excel spreadsheet to see if I can get my head wrapped around this and not get side tracked. But for now it’s 9 am and  I have my Diet Coke beside me. Life if good. I fed the chickens, cows, and cut down some old branches so now I want to make some cookies for our son in Korea and get that box mailed before I plan on painting. Wish me Luck!
