I had to do some errands this morning, so when I was out and about I stopped in my sisters to see how Walter was doing. He sure has it made! He was just hanging out in the yard with the ducks. It was funny, he was a rooster that crowed all day long at our house, and it looks like he’s doing the same at her house. He was looking good, and I’m sure glad that I ended up having him stay at her house instead of having to be with Hitler when he was still alive.
Our new little calf is still going good. I was so nervous this morning when I walked into the barn. He’s still not drinking too well, and I was hoping he made it through the night. Well, there he was just running around in the pen and I took a deep breath. I didn’t realize that I was holding my breath up to that point. Because he’s not drinking so well. Daryl and I worked with him tonight and I’m sure glad the No Ears is so tame, because she just lets us be by her without her getting so nervous. Now we just have to make sure that Stormy keeps eating.
I took a picture this morning of the sky. It’s not that uncommon to see a colorful sky in the morning, but I think sometimes we don’t stop and take a look how nice they really can be.
